About Graylinc
Most organizations we work with do not have a strategy problem.
They have a translation problem.
The strategy exists. Someone smart built it. The market opportunity is real, the logic is sound, and the leadership team is aligned. And then it hits the actual organization — and nothing changes. The forecast keeps missing. The sales team keeps underperforming. The CRM is full of data nobody trusts. The new initiative runs on infrastructure designed for a completely different strategy.
That gap — between what leadership intends and what the organization actually produces — is where Graylinc works.
What We Do
Graylinc is a commercial strategy and revenue operations consultancy. We work directly with founders, CEOs, and VP-level leaders to close the distance between strategic ambition and commercial execution — building the GTM frameworks, forecasting infrastructure, revenue intelligence systems, and organizational architecture that turn strategy into measurable, repeatable performance.
We do not staff projects with junior consultants. We do not produce reports and move on. We work alongside leadership as a genuine thinking partner — diagnosing what is actually causing the problem, building the systems that fix it, and leaving the organization with infrastructure that works without us.
Where We Work
We have built commercial systems across a range of capital-intensive, operationally complex industries where the gap between strategy and execution tends to be structural rather than situational:
Building Materials & Construction — lumber and panel products, specialty building products, millwork, LBM distribution, design-build construction, built environment services, sustainable construction, and green building. We understand how building products companies grow through relationships and where that model hits its ceiling.
Renewable Energy & Clean Technology — utility-scale solar, energy storage, distributed generation, grid infrastructure, clean energy development, EPC contracting, and the energy transition broadly. We understand the commercial infrastructure challenges that come with scaling a project-driven business into a systems-driven one.
Industrial Manufacturing & Capital Equipment — specialty manufacturing, industrial equipment, contract manufacturing, CDMO operations, and capital equipment sales. We understand long sales cycles, technical buyers, complex procurement environments, and the commercial architecture that makes them navigable.
Specialty Pharma & Medical Devices — pharmaceutical commercialization, specialty pharma launch and growth, medical device sales infrastructure, biotech go-to-market strategy, and life sciences commercial operations. We understand the regulatory complexity, the stakeholder dynamics, and the specific commercial challenges that define success in these industries.
Healthcare & Health Services — behavioral health, healthcare technology, health services delivery, and the organizations building infrastructure for better patient access and outcomes. We understand the mission and the commercial reality that sustains it.
How We Think
We are systems thinkers by nature. When something is not working — a team underperforming, a forecast that keeps missing, a market that is not responding the way the strategy said it would — our first instinct is never to look at the people. It is to look at the architecture. The incentives. The process. The infrastructure. The things that shape what people do far more than motivation or talent ever will.
This approach comes from a decade of working across industries as independent operators — without the protection of a large firm's brand, without junior teams to absorb the work, and without the luxury of being wrong. When you have sourced every client yourself, built every system from scratch, and delivered directly to the people who make the decisions, you develop a particular kind of clarity about what actually matters and what is just noise.
We bring that clarity to every engagement.
Why Graylinc
The name Graylinc comes from something personal. It is derived from the names of our founders' two sons — Grayson and Lincoln. Grayson has autism, and the years spent navigating the systems that were supposed to serve him — educational, therapeutic, medical, institutional — taught us something that shapes how we work with every client: most systems are not broken because of bad people. They are broken because they were built for someone else.
We build systems that actually fit the organizations they serve. That is what we do. That is why we do it.
If This Sounds Like Your Problem
We work with a small number of clients at a time — by design. If you are a founder, CEO, or commercial leader in building materials, renewable energy, industrial manufacturing, specialty pharma, or medical devices, and the gap between your strategy and your revenue performance is starting to feel structural rather than situational, we would like to talk.
